Some universal truths refuse to be ignored.

Peanut butter and jelly are a match made in heaven. Spaghetti and meatballs are best friends forever. And guys like Tyler Knight don’t go for girls like Cam Emerson.

She knew from the second she met him that he didn’t belong on her bookshelf, the six-foot-six ex-tight end with a face so all-American, it could have sold apple pie. So she shelved him next to the supermodels and rock stars and took her place on her own shelf — the one with the flannel-clad, pasty-faced comic book nerds. Most of her boyfriends have existed between the pages of books, but rather than worrying over her own lacking love life, she puts all her energy into playing Cupid, using her job at the book bar, Wasted Words, as her stomping ground.

Tyler Knight always looks on the bright side. His career-ending injury turned into a job as a sports agent. A horrible breakup led him to Cam, his quirky, smart roommate who is far more beautiful than she realizes. She’s made it perfectly clear she’s not interested in him — not like that at least — but if she ever changes her mind, he won’t hesitate. Because he doesn’t see the lines she’s drawn between them, as much as she insists that they’re there. Deep down he knows that despite their differences, they’re a match well made.

*A romantic comedy inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma*

This book... *heart eyes*. Oh I loved it. Sweet and filled with nerdy goodness.

Cam works at Wasted Words, as a bartender and cupid setting people up she sees at the bar.
Cam has a system when it comes to setting people up, making sure they all end up with people in their own catagory and not ouside it- the nerds go with the nerds and guys like Tyler Knight go with the supermodels, girls like Cam Emerson go with the nerds.
Tyler and Cam live together and from the moment Cam met Tyler she knew he did not belong with someone like her and therefore always thought of him as a friend.
An injury changed Tyler's life forever, but instead of letting it beat him he found a new way in life- being a sports agent. The good thing his injury and break up sent him to Cam. While she makes it clear they're just friends and doesns't belong together the moment he sees a way in he'll take it. He doesn't care about the catagories Cam has.
The booknerd and the sports star turned sports agent can it work?

I loved this book soooo much. Tyler and Cam are just adorable. I became totally addicted to reading it to see where it would go next.
I almost found it a bit funny how Cam was so set in her way that her and Tyler did not belong together, she doesn't realize how much time they already spent together- like them spending the whole weekend together watching football on tv. They already have a relationship that works, but she really doesn't see it because she's so set in her ways and her rules.
When it finally moves to be more though it is one of the greatest things.
And seriously I could go on and on about how cute these two are, but well read it because it is just so cute. I also loved how she continued to try and find a book he would love, and he kept trying to find the book that will be the right fit.

Plot wise with this book was probably one the best things as well. I felt that the story moved along nicely, there was the suspense of them realizing that they're more and at the same time we get to see them together and the struggles they have while also moving deeper into their relationship.
Staci Hart has, as always, provided the best characters with her amazing writing. I am totally in love with this book and the characters. A must read if you love a sweet story.

Author Bio

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life: a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, even though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. Her favorite word starts with f and ends with k.

From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's sleeping, cleaning, or designing graphics.
