Review Opal

Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it

*spoiler free*
This book was a bit more.. hmm idk. Not a lot 'action' happened, but it was all leading up to this really hearthbreaking cliffhanger ending. Typical 3rd book. But I still loved it! Daemon was a bit more tame, you can say, being in a steady relationship and all that, but I found it very adorable and cute! It was good finally seeing them together after two books of them hating on eachother really :P
There's not a lot to say other than that end was harsh! and ofc have to wait and wait for the next one to find out what happens. Gotta stay strong!

Again, I like how whenever I start a new book in this series, I don't feel like half of the books is about re-telling what happened in the previous books. I love that!

Awww, Daemon.

"..weird alien-mind-Source-Jedi power..."
Yeeeah.. xD Jedi powers. Gotta love thát.

"...sucked worse than people who pirated books, sucked more than waiting a year for the next book in a beloved series, and sucked more than a brutal cliffhanger ending."
Kind of ironic because of the end.
But still oh so true. I love that Katy uses books to explain that sucky situation.

After finishing this book... let me explain in a bunch of gifs:

Yeah, that explains it. Book hangover, big time.
That end was heartbreaking.. and of course the next book is not out yet. Gonna be interesting to see how that is.

Check out all these extra awesomesauce stuff!
